I use this recipe whenever we have leftover steam rice from an earlier meal. This one is quick to make. Of course, you can make fresh steam rice and then follow this entire recipe.
Ingredients
- Steamed Rice 1 small bowl
- Finely chopped Onion 1
- Finely chopped Green chill 1
- Lemon Juice half spoon
- Salt as per required
- Turmeric powder 1/3
- Chilli powder 1/3
- Mustard Seed 1/2
- Spring Curry leave 4 or 5
- Cumin Seeds 1/2
- Pinch of Asafoelida (हींग)
- Oil 1 or 1.5 tsp (for tadka)
- Salt as per required
- Coriander leaves
Recipe
- In Pan heat Oil.
- Then, put mustard seeds till they crack then, add Cumin seeds and fry till they get browned, After that Asafoelida (हींग).
- Add chopped Onion and fry till they get soft and become transparent.
- Add curry leaves and green chilli
- Add chilli powder, Turmeric powder, and salt.
- Add Steamed rice and stir well so that the masala mix properly, Stir properly for 2 or 3 minutes.
- Then, Add Lemon juice.
- Serve it!
